Lisa Jensen - Administration Director

Running the administration side of the company is Clint’s wife, Lisa, who also has an impressive list of ice skating accolades to her name. Lisa’s mother was an ice-skater and would take 7 year old Lisa skating during the school holidays. Lisa would watch the other skaters and try to mimic their tricks, whereupon her mother decided it was time for Lisa to receive lessons and quickly, before she harmed herself! So began Lisa’s love affair with ice skating and her mothers years of sequin sewing and taxi-ferrying. In 20 years of her skating career, Lisa competed in figure, short track and synchronised ice skating.

In 1988 and at the tender age of 11 years old she was the youngest skater ever to compete in the Australian Figure Skating Championships held in Perth where she was placed 5th. Throughout her figure skating career Lisa was 5 times placed 1st in the Queensland Championships, and competed in 6 Australian Championships placing 4th twice. At 15 years old she changed over to Short Track Skating; a sport not for the feint hearted. Extreme determination, courage, and perseverance is required to compete in this tough pursuit. By 17, education had taken over from skating, but during this hiatus Lisa travelled extensively throughout Africa, Europe and the USA, living in England and Italy for periods of time. Lisa returned to skating in 2001 where she was asked to try out for Australian Synchronised Ice Skating team. She went on to represent Australia in 2 world championships in 2002 and 2003 in Rouen, France and then Ottawa, Canada.

Lisa married Clint in 2004, having known each other and the same ice-skating rinks for a long time. Their shared love for ice sports has resulted in their desire to give back something of their own experiences to others, through RBC. Like Clint, Lisa understands the hard work and dedication applied by skating athletes. If she can help them in that journey, it makes it all worthwhile.
