Who is wearing RBC?
Almost every Short Track team in the world has skaters that choose RBC and now Long Track International skaters are starting to look towards RBC for better boots. Also we have some of the world best inline skaters now using RBC
Do you make Long Track and Inline Boots?
RBC produces boots for Long Track, Short Track & Inline. You just have to request the type of boots that you would like from the RBC models available.
When do my boots get started on?
Your boots will be started on when RBC receives a good pair of moulds and 50% deposit.
When do I receive my boots?
Your boots are express posted after the total amount owed to RBC is paid.
How long do I have to wait for my boots?
Delivery time varies during the year from 8-16 weeks from March – August and 4-8 weeks the rest of the year.
What if I don’t like my boots?
RBC wants to make you happy with your purchase so we will attempt everything we can to have a pair of boots that you will be happy with.
Can I have a refund?
Unfortunately no. Because your boots are custom made we can not sell them to another skater.
The boots fit but I want to change things?
You can have the height and length altered as well as the block angles. You will have to pay for these alterations.
Can I choose my own colors?
The answer is yes. You can choose from many colors but some cost extra due to the cost of the material.
Can I have my name on my boots?
Yes you can have almost anything written on your boots providing the RBC Sport Directors approve it.
Can I have different torsion on different boots?
You can request to add or remove torsion from the different boots and the price of the boots will rise and fall accordingly.
Can I have the ovals removed from the side of my boots?
The ovals are an RBC trademark and this is the way skaters can see what boots you are wearing.
I don’t have anyone to mould my feet?
RBC has a moulding kit that you can purchase to mould your feet. You can download the instructions and pictures from the order page or email RBC directly requesting the kit.
I have never moulded before?
The RBC moulding for is easy to follow you just need to read through the instructions before you start.
Will there be anyone from RBC at our next competition?
If you send us the details of your next major competition 3 weeks in advance we will let you know if an RBC distributor will be attending.
Does RBC make standard boots?
RBC has been toying with the idea for some years but still we have not decided to go down that track yet. When we can design a standard boot that can match the quality of our custom boots then we will release standard models.
Will RBC Sponsor me?
RBC is always looking for potential World Champions so send us your details. We will take a close look at them and get into contact with you.
Why are your boots so inexpensive?
RBC takes pride in knowing that you don’t need to make a month’s wages from each pair of boots. All of the manufacturing is done at the RBC factory by skilled workers. This means that the price is kept down for you.
Why are your boots better than other brands?
RBC prides itself on leading the skate manufacturing trend with quality workmanship and materials. We don’t have people paid to go out and find the materials. Clint & Simon do all the research themselves. Clint is also on of the most innovative skate designers in the world. This was proven by the 3 Gold medals and 2 silver medals and 1 Bronze won on RBC at the 2002 Olympics.
How long have you been making boots?
Clint first started making boots back in the 80s, on the north side of Brisbane Australia. Clint saw the skating boot design change from leather to fibreglass and then to carbon fibre in the early 90s. RBC was established as a business in 1996 and now has many of the best Short Track skaters in the world choosing RBC’s latest designs.
Can I have orthotics in my boots?
This is an area that Clint does not agree with. But it doesn't mean we won’t put them in.
My boots are old and I don’t want to change what can I do?
You can send your boots back to RBC for renovation we will repair or replace the upper as well as the inside of the boot. We can also restrengthen the boots if you so desire all for a small cost compared to the cost of new boots.
Ankle boosters do they work?
The Ankle Booster has not yet failed in it roll in strengthening boots and giving a great new feel to your boots.
